Kids will have a blast at Bayside Church! We’d rather see kids dragging parents to church than the other way around. We want your kids to affirmatively answer two questions: “Did you have fun?” and “What did you learn?”
8 weeks - 5 yrs old
We recognize that young children are continuously learning and growing, which is why we’ve created engaging environments just for them. Infants and toddlers will play and rest in clean, safe rooms with developmentally appropriate toys and activities. Kids 2 years old to Kindergarten will enjoy learning about God’s love in the Wonder Workshop, a 20-minute program with lots of fun songs, friendly characters, and dynamic teaching.
Kindergarten - 5th grade
We believe that kids should never be bored at church! From the moment that 1st-5th grade kids arrive at Bayside Church, they’ll find a fun environment created with them in mind. After kids have come together for a creative experience of worship and teaching, they’ll separate into grade-based Connection Groups to talk with trusted leaders and friends about how God’s Word applies to their life right now. Kids and parents will leave with materials to help continue the conversation at home during the week.
Kids with Special Needs
The mission of Safe Harbor is to help young people, regardless of ability or need, to engage in age-appropriate programs on Sunday mornings at Bayside Church, with the help of trained, caring volunteers who can assist with varying social and developmental needs. Our Safe Harbor volunteers are available to work with kids who need some extra help in our regular environments, or to spend time with kids in the Safe Harbor room. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Safe Harbor is available during the 11:00 am Sunday service only, so please plan your visit accordingly.
KIDS WON’T BE BORED AT BAYSIDE!
We work hard to make sure that each Sunday provides an exciting experience that your kids won’t want to miss as they learn to grow in faith, friendship, and compassion.
When you arrive…
One of our friendly greeters will be happy to direct you to the Family Welcome Center. There, you will need to register your children if you have not yet done so. After completing the registration and sign-in process, someone will take you and your children to your child’s room, and you can go enjoy the adult worship service in the sanctuary.
When it’s time to pick up your children…
Don’t lose the security tag you received when you checked in your children. You will need it in order to quickly pick up your child after the service. Be sure to take the parent resources that we send home with your children each week. Use these during the week to engage with your children in faith-building conversations at home.
