Heights Kids 45
7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
It’s almost time for our awesome Heights 45 life group for 4th and 5th graders to start. We will be kicking off our fall quarter on Wednesday, September 11 from 7 to 8:30 pm in room 9 with a pizza and game night! Your kiddos are welcome to bring a friend and their favorite board game to share. We will supply the pizza. They will love it!
This fall we will be diving into Doug Britton’s Who Do You Think You Are? Our 4th and 5th graders will discover how to base their self-image on who they are in Christ–not on who they think they are or who culture says they are. They will learn how to:
- Base their self-image in God’s love.
- Move beyond “self-esteem”.
- Find freedom from guilt and regrets.
- Accept God’s forgiveness.
- Overcome perfectionism.
- Discover God’s purpose for their lives.
As always, we will be building friendships and having a blast with some super-fun games! I hope that your kiddos will be joining us!
To register, please email Jennifer Alessio, Children’s Ministries Pastor, at firstname.lastname@example.org or register in the classroom.
Snacks are provided in all classes. Please notify the welcome center and your child’s small group leader of any allergies.
Our Heights Kids team members love kids and they go through an extensive application, interview, background check and training process. Volunteers and staff wear a Heights Kids t-shirt and lanyard to identify them as part of our team. Safety is a priority for us, which is why we require 2 team members in each classroom at all times.
